Research interest

Polysaccharides are important biopolymers whose monomers are sugars. In addition, the renewed interest in glycobiology has shown that polysaccharides have promising therapeutic potentialities in the fight against many diseases.

The aim of our study will be the extraction of polysaccharides from a plant used in traditional Algerian pharmacopoeia, in order to determine their activities in vivo and in vitro for the determination of the active ingredient and thus to confirm or refute the data from tradition.

متعدد السكاكر هي بوليمرات حيوية مهمة مكونة من وحدات سكرية. بالإضافة إلى ذلك ، أظهر الاهتمام المتجدد بعلم السكريات أن السكريات لديها إمكانات علاجية واعدة في مكافحة العديد من الأمراض

سيكون الهدف من دراستنا هو استخراج متعدد السكاكر من نبات يستخدم في دستور الأدوية الجزائري التقليدي ، من أجل تحديد أنشطتها في الجسم الحي وفي المختبر لتحديد المادة الفعالة  وبالتالي لتأكيد أو دحض المعطيات التقليدية

Les polysaccharides constituent d'importants biopolymères dont les monomères sont des sucres. Par ailleurs le regain d'intérêt pour la glycobiologie a montré que les polysaccharides présentent des potentialités thérapeutiques prometteuses dans la lutte contre de nombreuses maladies.

Le but de notre étude portera sur l'extraction de polysaccharides provenant d’une plante  utilisée en pharmacopée traditionnelle  Algérienne , afin d'en déterminer leurs activités in vivo et in vitro pour la détermination du  principe actif et ainsi de confirmer ou d’infirmer les données issues de la tradition .
